  I recently hired Golden-Eye Construction to renovate a master bathroom and update a powder room. From beginning to end, Rob was professional, patient, honest, and thorough. He helped me compile what to order and helped me to create a project that was beautiful but still within my tight budget. When it came to selecting some design elements, Rob was skilled at guiding those choices too (such as grout color). All of the estimates were exact and there were no surprises. When problems arose such as fitting the medicine cabinets/light fixtures/backsplash to accommodate my slanted ceiling, Rob was able to problem solve quickly and effectively. We also had difficulty finding a sink that fit the narrow powder room counter space and Rob was able to problem solve and work around any issues. His carpentry with fitting a counter over an existing cabinet was excellent. I have a very demanding career and I was able to come home each night and see tremendous progress and excellent crafstmanship. The job was completed very quickly, within about 10 days. He was thoughtful to stagger the bathroom projects just enough so we never had to be without two bathrooms. His team was incredibly clean and careful and cleaned up daily so that my house was spotless and free of garbage. When I added painting to the job while the everything was underway, Rob and his team were responsive and affordable. I can't say enough about my experience and I give Rob and Golden-Eye Construction my highest recommendation. Every day that I enter my bathrooms I feel so happy and grateful. Don't hesitate to contract with Golden-Eye, and there is no need to bother getting other estimates!

  We recently hired Golden Eye for a major renovation and home expansion project, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. This was a very large and complex project that required us to move out of our home for several months, so choosing the right contractor was incredibly important. We interviewed multiple contractors before moving forward, and from our first conversations with Mike, we felt the most confidence and trust in Golden Eye. That instinct proved to be absolutely right. Mike and his team were exceptional throughout the entire process. Rob did an outstanding job running point on the project day to day and keeping everything organized, moving, and on schedule. The crew showed up every single day, worked incredibly hard, treated our home with respect, and genuinely cared about delivering a first-class result. Everyone involved was professional, friendly, responsive, and always looking out for our best interests. What impressed me most was how solution-oriented the team was. On a renovation of this scale, unexpected issues are inevitable, but every challenge that came up was handled calmly, transparently, and with thoughtful solutions. Instead of creating stress, they consistently took stress off our plate and guided us through the process. They truly treated the project as if it were their own home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. There were many custom elements throughout the project, and the quality of work truly shows. They also made several recommendations and design suggestions that we never would have thought of ourselves, and those ideas ended up significantly enhancing the final result. Another thing that stood out was their transparency and honesty throughout the project. Pricing, timelines, and change orders were communicated clearly from beginning to end. There were no surprises, and we always felt informed and comfortable with decisions being made. One of our biggest goals was getting back into the house before Christmas, and they delivered. Considering the size and complexity of the project, that meant a lot to our family. The project also stayed remarkably close to schedule despite the amount of work involved, which says a lot about how well the job was managed. The professionalism extended beyond just Mike and Rob. Everyone associated with the project operated at a very high level, and it was clear that Golden Eye holds everyone accountable to a high standard. Most importantly, they stood behind their work even after completion, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and reinforced that we made the right decision. Now that everything is complete, we continue to receive compliments on the house from everyone who visits. More importantly, my family and I genuinely love living in it and will enjoy it for many years to come. Golden Eye has absolutely earned its stellar reputation. Mike and the entire team delivered exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, communication, and overall experience.   We used Golden-Eye for our home renovation and we can't speak highly enough of both the process and their entire team. We renovated shortly after covid and despite low supply inventory and skyrocketing material prices, Golden-Eye held true to their word and honored our fixed price proposal. Our project was also completed in the time frame we were initially quoted and that does NOT happen in home renovations! The team was skilled, detail oriented, kind and CLEAN. Our jobsite was well maintained throughout the entire process. We regularly receive complements on how beautiful our house turned out and it's all thanks to Golden-Eye.   I had a great experience working with Michael and his team at Golden Eye. Their fixed-price proposal system truly sets them apart, giving peace of mind and a clear understanding of total costs upfront. In my experience, even well-known contractors sometimes leave out finishing materials, fixtures, or hardware in their proposals, which can lead to unexpected surprises later in the project. With Golden Eye, everything was clear, detailed, and included the quality finishes we actually wanted. Their process made the entire experience far less stressful and kept what should be a fun project enjoyable and exciting. I also appreciated Michael’s honesty and expertise. He provided realistic guidance about project numbers, which was incredibly helpful. He even went above and beyond to ensure parts of the work were finished to the highest standard.   I've used this company many times for all types of projects and they always do amazing work.  Professional, on budget and on time.  A hard thing to make happen.  They are also GREAT with communication and problem solving / presenting solutions. Could not recommend them more!

  Golden-Eye is the best contracting group we've ever worked with. Meticulous work by skilled and properly licensed professionals, who were respectful of and careful with our house. Everything they did for us came out perfectly, including our new wood floors, and they completed the job exactly according to the timeline.   I have used Golden Eye in the past for projects and the level of service and workmanship brought them back to help finish off my man cave.   Mike and the Golden Eye team delvrd exactly what they promised. Their process sets them apart in my opinion. From the pre-construction conference checklist to the final completion we were well informed. They work clean on a daily basis. Rob, the foreman, and the guys on our project were very respectful to out neighbors and a pleasure to work with. We could not be happier.

Our home is over a hundred years old so finding a team to handle such a task was challenging.

After having a nightmare of a bathroom renovation, I was hesitant about doing any more remodeling...until I found Golden-Eye.

Upon meeting Mike Emmert, I was immediately put at ease. His straightforward demeanor regarding the costs, the timeline, materials, etc., came from a place of experience and knowledge, and I knew I could trust him.

On the day of the demo, not a speck of dust was left behind. Throughout the renovation, I came to see Rob, Matt, John, and the rest of the team as friends. They even halted "noisy" projects while my baby slept. At one point during a particularly rainy day, we noticed water coming into the attic. Although this had nothing to do with their job, Mike had a roof repair man out within 15 minutes. Not only was everything done to perfection, and they stand behind their work, but they finished a week ahead of schedule.

I recommend them without hesitation to everyone I know, and when it comes time to do more updates on this old house, I know who to call. Golden-Eye is top-notch!

Golden-Eye won out over three other quotes as we weighed these factors.

They are a local contractor that gave us locations of projects that were in progress or had been completed- and in several cases, requested the client's permission so we could stop in and speak with them (this was such a transparent and reassuring gesture!)

The quote was very specific, inclusive and right in the middle of all of the quotes received- so we didn't feel like we would experience "add-ons" (unless we opted in for them!), or we were getting bilked.

The timing of an available start date

Mike had knowledge of the industry (to which he gave unfettered access!) and was so confident in his company- it allowed us to swiftly build a rapport with him- and eventually his crew- they were terrific!.
